Software for Mobile Devices
  • Designed to run on Microsoft Windows XP or Vista. It can be installed on any computer running these operating systems that have been properly licensed.
  • Designed to be installed over the internet, through the AccuMedWeb Portal. This installation approach eliminates the need for a CD/DVD installation.
  • Automatically detects available updates.
  • eMedicReports is a data-secure application. Individual users require logon credentials in order to be able to use the product.
  • Designed to capture and report on all possible values defined in the NEMSIS 2.2.1 EMS Dataset.
  • Provides configuration options that allow each implementation to be customized for individual agency's requirements.
  • Designed to make patient side data capture easy and accurate. It has been optimized to run on a Tablet PC where a stylus can be used for most of the data entry. Keyboard data entry is required on a few fields (e.g. the narrative).
  • Supports an aggressive auto-save feature that eliminates the need for the end user to ever manually save changes. All changes are saved automatically as they occur.
  • eMedicReports helps direct the medic to required data entry fields by providing simple completion status indicators.
  • Designed to allow many medics to use the same mobile device. Each medic is limited to working on their run-sheets only, and cannot see the data collected by others.
  • Captures signatures electronically, eliminating the need to carry paper forms for obtaining common patient authorization, and medical personnel signatures.
  • Simplifies special situation run types, including cancelled runs, refusal of transport, and intercepts.
  • Simplifies capturing the many 'time' values typically collected in the field. One-touch data entry puts the current time into the selected field (requires the additional capabilities of touch-screen technology).
  • "Smart Location" data entry. Supplying a zip code provide automatic values for City/State/County values, reducing the number of fields that require manual data entry. Age calculator automatically converts birth date values to age. Another example of reducing manual data entry.
  • Comprehensive Medication List (includes generic names) allows for rapid selection and data entry.
  • Body Weight / Temperature values converted from U.S. Standard to Metric values.
  • Comprehensive NHTSA Injury Matrix.

Software for the Web

  • The AccuMedWeb Portal is a web-based application that is a gateway to AccuMedWeb products
  • Software installation is not required to use the portal. Any computer with a connection to the internet and a web browser can gain access to the portal.
  • Credentials are required to log into the application. eMedicReports-Web is a web-based version of the mobile product. The user interface of the eMedicReports very closely matches that of the mobile version. This design promotes ease of use between the two applications. Any user familiar with the mobile version of the product can easily adapt to the web-based version.
  • eMedicReports-Web is available as a solution for agencies who wish to benefit from efficient data entry capabilities, but do not wish to invest in the hardware necessary to support the mobile version of the product.
  • Any licensed user of eMedicReports-Mobile is also licensed to use eMedicReports-Web.  This web product is often used by Agency Medics to complete billing information, and provide additional incident information that may not have been available at the time EMS data was collected in the field.
  • The Portal provides access to a Billing Approval process, an activity that is typically performed by an Agency Administrator. During the approval process, users have the capability to append relevant information to the EMS incident data, and then approve or reject individual runs.
  • The AccuMedWeb Portal provides on-demand access to all EMS incident data, including the Document of Record and other relevant data. This data is retained for the time specified in the license agreement, usually five to seven years.
